Dr. Kurt P. Moran, M.D. has been an Internal Medicine specialist for the last 15 years. In 1997, Dr. Moran developed an interest in cosmetic laser surgery. He extensively trained with Dr. Donald Plance of Rosemont / Beverly Hills, California. He received certification to perform and to teach cosmetic laser procedures.

In 1998, Dr. Moran developed the medical laser center at his Keyser Oak medical practice. Since that time, he and his physician's assistant, Scott Weisenfluh, have practiced internal medicine and cosmetic laser surgery.

In September 2003, Dr. Moran and Mr. Weisenfluh opened Actique Medical Laser Spa.
Actique is pleased to announce its affiliation with Dr. Edward L. Batzel, M.D. Dr. Batzel is a board certified vascular surgeon, with an active practice in the Scranton area.

Dr. Batzel has been involved in the care of patients with venous disorders for many years, and is one of the few physicians to practice the "Closure" procedure in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
